Where to catch a Zander?

Zander are often called pike-perch as they resemble the pike with their elongated body and head, and the perch with their spiny dorsal fin.

Where to catch a Zander?

I believe the Zander was introduced from mainland Europe into one or two locations in the earlier part of the last century. It was then stocked into waters in south east England, where they flourished during the 70's and 80's.

Where is the nearest water to the Bristol area where you could catch a Zander :?:

Fancy something different this winter then Nick...? I reckon best bet would be Severn or WA but I am sure they are in Gloucester also - seem to remember something with the canal but could be completely wrong! (probably)
