Does anybody know anybody who refurbishes 'Pins' preferably in the Bristol (ish) area??

I've been lucky enough to 'inherit' an Alcocks Aerial, and would love it transformed to it former glory!

Hi Andy,

The Allcock Aerials were made by J.W Young & Sons from day one (1896)
Fortunately one of the former Youngs employees, Gary Mills, now runs a business which includes Service and Repairs to old J.W. Young reels. He's not cheap cheap, but offers a great service and top quality job, so he's your man. Check out http://www.milltackle.co.uk
(lets have a pic or two of your reel, then another after you get it done-up?)

Cheers, Nick

vintagefishingtackle.net/REEL-RESTORATION-AND-REPAIR-SERVICE
I've used this guy for my speedia restoration not quick or cheap (but not expensive either) but quality work.
