Avon Barbel

hi Is anyone out there familiar with the bruce and walker hexagraph avon rods,just looked at their web site but cant make out what the rods are made of , think it might be gold they only cost £660 ,great looking rods tho

Me and Phil popped down to Davis Tackle on Saturday to have a look at the Hexagraph rods and the did not have any new rods in stock but we had the oppertunity to check the owners rod.

I must say, its something very special and should be for the cost. There is a six month waiting list at the moment because the last rods sold immediatley.

It was very light and perfectly balanced, and the owner made it clear you will not know how special it is until you have a half decent barbel on.

Too expensive for me I am happy with my Ipower but looks like Phil maybe making a purchase soon.
