Daiwa Regal 2550BR

Hi all,
I'm looking for a bit of advice on the above reel.
I have had one from new since about 2004/05. It has only ever been used for barbel fishing catching many barbel including two 13 pounders and many other double figure fish.
But now old age seems to have caught with it and its getting a bit clunky.
I'm hoping that it's just a case of lubrication and/or greasing, and was would like to know if I can use either WD40 or a silicone spray or if I have to use a specific oil.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

Rich
