Jedd,
Have a trawl around on E-Bay ! I bought a Walker 10' Split Cane Carp Rod for around £75 quid ! Does the job just nicely ! Teamed with a pin it gives what I would describe as an 'Interesting Fight' :D

Seriously though, great fun on smaller rivers.............

Hi Nige,

Amazing price for the Dragonfly! These modern classics go for as much as the antique ones in some cases.

Who buys them? Can't be users - after all, who sits a £500 quid reel in the mud ?!?

Shame not to use it - it's a modern reel, built to use.

Hi Paul

I will check out ebay. I have a great rod (with one of Bobs Ipowers) but would also love an old pin and split cane rod.
