Whilst they are not the best of boots to walk in, I love my Skeetex Essex welly style boots. The fleece lining helps to keep my feet nice and toasty.

deano, what ones did you buy ?
and how do they compare size wise, do you need your own size, or go bigger or smaller?..
i bought some sunridge hot boots in my own size and they were about half a size too big, other footwear i've had to go up a size sometimes..

I have a pair of ESK Muckboots have used them all winter shooting and fishing and they are without doubt the best pair of boots I have had. As stated above true to size, warm and great to walk in

On the rare occasion I venture out in the cold weather these days I still wear my faithful pair of "Boom 80's" (bought in the early 80's, too!). Still as good as ever - just wear a thin pair of socks and feet stay warm all day in freezing conditions, amazing.
Only drawbacks are non-grippy flat, stiff soles and you look a right twat in them (most folks don't notice them on me at all  )
Anybody remember these?

Has to be the Skitex field boots, great bit of kit and with the inner thermal sock only need a standard pair of socks even in the coldest of days!

One down point tho, they do make your feet sweat a little if you are always on the go.. hence why only one pair of socks are required ~ even cope with wet slight flooded ground as well without getting wet...

Best bit of kit i have bought boot wise and can't fault them
