Tench Fishing

I'm really looking forward to the Spring and getting out after the tench. I fished a new-ish water last Spring and sort of fell in love with it. No monsters in there (unless you believe the bailiff, that is !), but some very hard fighting pretty tinca's. Roll on !

I'm looking for a good day ticket Tench lake either near to the Bristol area or up towards Tewkesbury way. Any pointers would be appreciated!

Well, I had my first tench of the Spring on Monday (16th March) from the water in the photo above, and I don't think I've ever caught a prettier tench. It was a gorgeous shade of a green, I wish I'd took a photo of it now.
