That's what I'm hoping too. Mind you, my main incentive was brought on by enquiring about the price of a
gallon of maggots in my local tackle emporium today :o Thought I might need to bulk out my one pint of maggies with something :roll:

Reckon I excavated about 500 of the blighters this afternoon and I've kindly offered to fork over the neighbour's chicken run tomorrow....if my back lasts that long anyway...!

Hi Both

I am not sure what to use yet, Stan at the shop recommends maggots and Phil did well on them last time we fished this stretch, three barbel in the first three chucks jammy git, and they were good fish.

I do suppose the stretch must see a ton of pellets, I reckon worms would be a winner ;)
